Team International Anarchy

Lanwar 42 was a slightly smaller event than usual, but was a good time for all as usual. [IA]BlackPanther, [IA]Gamelockaz, and [IA]Zealot were in attendance. While Team [IA] did not partake in any large tournaments, [IA]Zealot did place 1st in the Texas Hold `Em tournament. The picture below is a link to some of the photos from the event.

I would like to take a moment and introduce our new team members.

Lanwar sent out an e-mail detailing the next event! We need to see about getting a TF2 team prepared for this event, I will post details about putting a TF2 [IA] team on the forums later on.

MML was great and now we are preparing for our fall event, Lanwar 42 in October!  Registration for Lanwar 42 will open this Friday night, July 18, 2008 at 10pm!  The event will be held in Louisville, KY at the UofL SAC.  If you wish to sit together with your group, don’t forget that group seating is available!  The Staff run tourneys are posted.  If you want to run your own tourney, post in the forums.  MMLs attendee run Super Smash Brothers Brawl was a great success.  The event dates are October 11 & 12, 2007 and the cost is $30, don’t miss it.

MillionManLan 7 was another great event! It took place in the University of Louisville’s Student Activities Center on July 3rd to July 6th. Team [IA] would like to welcome Michael “Disclaimer” Harris to the team! He has played with us for quite sometime before as an honorary [IA] player. Today marks his official membership onto the team. Thanks for joining the group Disclaimer, we are excited to have you!

Remember MML7 is on July 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. I will post an update of where the team will be sitting and who is going to the event once we have a better idea of that. This is shaping up to be a historical event and if you care about Lanwar at all you are not going to want to miss it! The Team Fortess 2 Team for International Anarchy took 2nd over the weekend at LanWar 40. Our 5 man team included Jaffa, Zealot, Botulism, Sloppy_Surgeon, and Swiftekho. The team took 2nd to pure.Gaming in a hard fought Final battle on cp_dustbowl. I would like to thank Jaffa, Swiftekho, Sloppy_Surgeon, Botulism, Arrows, and EMU for their hard work to take us to 2nd place. Great job guys!

We are now one week away from the next Lanwar event, Lanwar 33. As we approach it more I will post details about our local Counter-Strike server that will be hosted and directions if anyone needs them.

[IA]Sweden has resigned from Team International Anarchy. We wish him the best of luck in his future gaming career.

I am excited to announce the addition of a new team member, Sloppy Surgeon! I hope he has a great time hanging out with team IA and to enjoy the many lanwars to come.
